What BlockStep reads
Step count from Apple Health, read-only, with your permission. Nothing else — not workouts, not heart rate, not location.
Where it goes
There is no BlockStep server, so nothing is sent to us. Your step count stays on the device that read it and reaches your watch and widgets through Apple's App Group. Your Collection — the record of which days you finished — is mirrored into your own private iCloud database so it follows you to a new phone. That copy is yours: it lives in your Apple account, we have no key to it and no way to read it, and a device that is not signed in to iCloud simply keeps its Collection locally.
What we collect
Nothing. No account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no cookies on this site.
If you buy the Kit
The Kit is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details; the app only ever learns whether the purchase exists. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
What Apple sees
Standard App Store/TestFlight mechanics under Apple's own privacy policy; crash reports only if you opted in to share them with developers.
Contact
Deleting your data
Delete the app and the diary on that device goes with it. The iCloud copy is in your own account — remove it under Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage, the same way you would for any app. Health data was never ours and stays untouched in Apple Health.
